Three Ways the 2018 Escape is Designed for Convenience

For many drivers, the Ford Escape has long been an easy choice for its abundance of practicality and convenience. For the 2018 model, that approach continues. Ford saw fit to equip the 2018 Escape with a wide range of features to enhance practicality. After a quick review, here are three of our favorite convenience features in the new Escape:

1. Cargo Capacity: For a small SUV, the 2018 Escape has impressive rear space. With the rear seats in the upright position, the Escape has a useful 34 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold the rear seats down, and cargo space doubles to 68 cubic feet. Plus, the rear seats split-fold 60/40 for extra flexibility.

2. Hands-Free Liftgate: There's no need to worry about lifting the rear hatch while carrying bulk objects -- simply kick your foot under the rear bumper and the rear hatch will lift automatically.

3. Rear View Camera: This standard feature offers greater visibility for backing up, merging lanes, and more.
